Full-Service Movers in Bradenton, FL: Packing, Moving and Unpacking in One Booking

“Full service” is a label, not a legal term. At one company it ends when the truck is empty. At another it ends with your plates in the cabinets and the boxes hauled off. Call +1 (941) 392-6022. Bradenton Mover Line connects you with an independent mover that packs, moves and unpacks homes in Manatee County.

This page shows what should be written on the estimate, what full service movers Bradenton families hire charge and which jobs stay on your own list.

Calls may be recorded. We may be paid when we connect your call. You pay us nothing.

What Is Included in a Full-Service Move?

The truck, the crew and the carrying are the core. Packing, boxes and unpacking are where companies split.

The “yes” rows follow HireAHelper’s August 2026 guide to full-service moving. The “ask” rows come from Square Cow Movers’ August 2026 pricing guide, which says those services “may be included, billed separately, or unavailable.”

Does Full Service Always Include Packing and Unpacking?

No. Two national guides disagree on it.

HireAHelper calls packing an optional add-on, not a standard part of a basic moving quote. U-Pack’s guide says these companies handle “the whole process from packing to unpacking.”

Florida law has no definition of full service moving. It does have Florida Statute 507.05. That law requires a written estimate and contract before any work starts, with the services itemized.

So the estimate settles it. A full packing moving service should name, in writing, who packs, who supplies the boxes and how far the unpacking goes. The unpacking services page explains the three depths.

How Much Do Full-Service Movers Cost in Bradenton?

What full service movers cost is two bills added together: the move and the packing. No guide publishes a combined average for this area, so the table uses one source for each.

HomeThe move alonePacking added
1 bedroom$604$280 to $650
2 bedrooms$962$530 to $1,000
3 bedrooms$2,194$1,030 to $2,200

The middle column is moveBuddha’s local average from September 2026. The right column is HomeAdvisor’s national range from June 2026. Put together, a three-bedroom home comes to about $3,200 to $4,400. That’s simple addition from two sources, not a quote.

Unpacking is a third line. HomeAdvisor lists it at $100 to $1,400.

For full service movers Bradenton has one more local figure. HireAHelper’s page for the city shows an average of about $1,049 for movers with a truck and about $399 for labor alone.

Quotes for full service moving services come as an hourly rate, a flat rate or a not-to-exceed price. Ask which one you’re getting.

What Adds to a Full-Service Bill?

  • Materials. $180 to $250 for a one-bedroom home and $500 to $750 or more for three bedrooms, per HomeAdvisor.
  • Stairs and long carries. moveBuddha lists $50 to $75 per flight and a fee past 75 feet from truck to door.
  • A shuttle. On Anna Maria Island and Longboat Key, a full-size truck can’t always reach the house.
  • Heavy items. $150 to $800 or more per piano or safe, per FreightWaves.
  • Fuller coverage. About 1% to 2% of the declared value, per FreightWaves.
  • Peak dates. moveBuddha reports rates 20% to 30% higher from May through September, on weekends and at month’s end.

Is Full Service Worth the Cost?

The case for full service moving is time. HireAHelper’s packing chart gives two packers 10 hours for a 2,000-square-foot home. That’s 20 hours of work. Done alone at two hours a night, it’s ten evenings.

It pays off when your closing date is close, you can’t take days off or lifting is hard for you. It pays off less for a small apartment, open dates or a tight budget.

Can You Do Part of It Yourself to Save Money?

Yes. Full service packing and moving doesn’t have to be all or nothing.

FreightWaves prices partial packing, such as the kitchen or the fragile items alone, at $150 to $600 or more. HireAHelper puts packers at $25 to $40 per person, per hour.

A split that works:

  • You pack: books, clothes, linens, toys and the garage shelves
  • They pack: dishes, glassware, lamps, mirrors, art and electronics

One caution. HireAHelper warns that it’s “much harder to file a successful claim” on fragile items you packed yourself. Leave the breakables to the packers.

What Happens on Each Day of a Full-Service Move?

DayWhat happens
The surveyAn estimator walks the home or views it by video. You get a written estimate. Some companies assign a move coordinator.
1 to 2 days beforeYou set up a “do not pack” room. The fridge is emptied and defrosted.
Packing dayThe packers box each room and label it. 3 Men Movers allows a full day or more for two or three bedrooms and up to two days for larger homes.
Load dayThe foreman does a walkthrough with you. You review the contract, the inventory and the coverage. Heavy furniture loads first.
Delivery dayFurniture is placed, then boxes go to labeled rooms. Beds are rebuilt.
UnpackingThe same day or the next, to the depth on your estimate.
Box pickupA later visit, if it’s written in.

Book early. moveBuddha suggests four to six weeks ahead from October through April and six to eight in summer.

What Do You Still Have to Do Yourself?

More than the name suggests.

  • Sort first. Everything on the survey gets packed and billed.
  • Carry the irreplaceable. Atlas Van Lines lists passports, deeds, cash, jewelry, laptops, keys and prescription medicine.
  • Switch utilities and mail. HireAHelper suggests about a week ahead.
  • Reserve the elevator and truck parking.
  • Book licensed trades. Gas lines and hardwired appliances aren’t a mover’s job. See appliance movers.
  • Be there for both walkthroughs and sign the inventory.

Do Local Full-Service Movers Work Differently From Long-Distance Ones?

Yes. The price, the rules and the timing all change.

Local full service movers Bradenton residents book bill by the hour, so stairs, elevators and parking distance decide the total.

On an interstate move, weight decides it. Square Cow’s guide notes that with a non-binding estimate you can’t be required to pay more than 110% of it at delivery.

A long haul inside Florida still falls under state rules. See long distance movers and interstate movers.

More Questions About Full-Service Moving in Bradenton

Do the Same People Pack and Move?

Companies do it both ways. Some full service movers send one crew for both days. Others use a packing team first and a loading crew after.

Three questions sort it out:

  • Are the packers employees or subcontractors?
  • Is the same foreman there on both days?
  • Who writes the inventory?

What Will Full-Service Movers Not Pack?

Anything that can burn, leak, spoil or die. Atlas Van Lines’ list includes:

  • Gasoline, paint, paint thinner and aerosol cans
  • Propane tanks and charcoal
  • Bleach, pool chemicals and car batteries
  • Ammunition, loaded guns and fireworks
  • Refrigerated, frozen and opened food
  • Houseplants

In a Florida garage, that covers the pool chlorine, the grill’s propane tank and the gas cans kept for the generator. Use them up or give them away before packing day.

Do Full-Service Movers Handle Pianos, Safes and Pool Tables?

Some full service movers own the gear and price each piece as its own line. Others bring in a specialist. Ask which, and get the item named on the estimate.

Each has its own page: piano movers, gun safe movers and pool table movers.

What if Something the Movers Packed Gets Broken?

The mover is responsible, but the basic payout is small. Florida’s minimum is 60 cents per pound per item. A 40-pound box of dishes pays $24.

Full-value coverage costs more and pays to repair or replace. Companies that sell full service moving services must give you the valuation terms in writing before the move.

If you find damage:

  1. Write it on the delivery paperwork before you sign.
  2. Keep the box and the packing paper.
  3. Photograph the item and the box.
  4. File a written claim with the mover.

On interstate moves, the FMCSA’s loss and damage page gives you nine months to file.
