Accessibility
Last updated: October 19, 2026
We want everyone to be able to use movingcompanybradenton.com and our phone line, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, captions or magnification. This page explains the standard we work toward, what we’ve done so far, what we know still needs work and how to reach us if something gets in your way.
Calls may be recorded. We may be paid when we connect your call. You pay us nothing.
What Standard Do We Follow?
We work toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. WCAG is published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), the group that sets standards for the web. Level AA is a common target for business and government sites.
We haven’t had the site formally audited against WCAG. We test it ourselves and fix problems as we find them. We don’t claim full conformance.
What Have We Done So Far?
The site is built so the content works with assistive technology:
- One H1 per page, with headings in order, so screen reader users can jump between sections
- Plain language, written at about an eighth grade reading level
- Tables with header rows, so screen readers can read each column’s label
- Link text that says where it goes, such as “verify a mover” instead of “click here”
- Text you can resize. Pages can be zoomed to 200% in your browser without losing content.
- Keyboard access. Links and menus can be reached with the Tab key.
- Color that isn’t the only signal. Links are underlined, not just a different color.
Images that carry meaning have text descriptions. Images used only for decoration are marked so screen readers skip them.
Is There Another Way to Get the Information?
Yes. The whole service works by phone. Call +1 (941) 392-6022 to be connected with an independent mover in Manatee County. You don’t need to use the website to get help with a move.
If you’d like any page read to you, sent as plain text by email or explained over the phone, email info@movingcompanybradenton.com with the page address.
What Do We Know Still Needs Work?
We’d rather tell you than have you find out the hard way:
- Some tables are wide. On a small phone screen, you may need to scroll sideways. Turning the phone sideways helps.
- Links to other websites. Many pages link to government agencies, laws and data sources so you can check facts. We don’t control those sites, and some may not meet the same standard.
- The call recording notice. Calls start with a spoken notice that the call may be recorded. If you use a relay service or TTY, the notice may come through as text, or the relay operator may read it to you.
We review pages when we update them, and each page shows the month it was last reviewed.
Can You Call if You’re Deaf or Hard of Hearing?
Yes. You can call through the free Telecommunications Relay Service by dialing 711 from any phone in the United States and giving the operator our number, +1 (941) 392-6022. A relay operator connects your call and relays the conversation. In Florida, this service is run by Florida Relay.
How Do You Report a Problem?
Email info@movingcompanybradenton.com and include:
- The page address, or what you were trying to do
- What went wrong
- The device, browser and any assistive technology you use, if you’re comfortable sharing
We’ll reply within 5 business days and tell you what we’ll fix and when. If we can’t fix it quickly, we’ll get you the information another way.
